Established in 1978, Ennis Center for Children provides foster care, adoption, and related support services to more than 6,000 children and families each year throughout southeastern Michigan, overseen by local community-based offices in Detroit, Pontiac, Howell, Port Huron, Flint, Monroe and now Saginaw.

Over these 42 years, we have been dedicated to helping children in need from birth to age 19. Our expertise is creating family stability and providing permanent homes. Our specialty is working within disadvantaged communities. Many of these children come from poor, minority, and at-risk backgrounds, as well as being medically and emotionally fragile.

Safely placing children in trained, licensed, and monitored foster homes is only the first step in creating a path to brighter futures.
